Jason von Ehrenkrook (University of Michigan) is the new Associate Editor for Book Reviews. Members of the renewed Book Review Commission are: Daniel Stokl Ben-Ezra (French Board), Eric Noffke (Italian Board), Carlos Segovia (Spanish Board) and Thomas Hieke (German Board).

Jan Dusek (Protestant Theological Faculty, Praha, Czech Republic) has joined the German Board.

January 2009

Yaron Eliav has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Journal.

November 2008

The American and the German Editorial Board are meeting at the SBL Conference in Boston, USA.

October 2008

The six Editorial Boards of the Journal Henoch have released the first report of their activities (PDF).

The Israeli Editorial Board is meeting on October 23 in Jerusalem, Israel.

Kevin Sullivan (Illinois Wesleyan University) has accepted to become the new Associate Editor of the American Board of the Journal Henoch.

September 2008

The Israeli Editorial Board has been formally established. Members of the Board are Hanan Eshel, Associate Editor (Bar Ilan University), Albert Baumgarten (Bar Ilan University), Gideon Bohak (Tel-Aviv University), Hillel Newman (Haifa University), and Jonathan Ben-Dov, Secretary (Haifa University). Additional Israeli Members, serving in the Advisory Board or other Boards of the Journal, are Yaron Eliav (University of Michigan), Esther Eshel (Bar-Ilan University), Doron Mendels (Hebrew University of Jerusalem), Aharon Oppenheimer (Tel-Aviv University), Adolfo Roitman (Israel Museum Jerusalem), and Michael Stone (Hebrew University of Jerusalem).

February 2008

With the 2008/1 issue, the journal adds a new section (In Memoriam) devoted to remember colleagues who recently passed away, as well as to celebrate the memory of distinguished scholars who in a more distant past have laid the foundations of our field. J. Harold Ellens (University of Michigan) is the Editor of the new section.

November 2007

The website of the Journal (www.henochjournal.com) is online. It is not only a public source of information about the past, present and future activities of the journal but also an "online office" where members of the numerous staff of the journal can work together, review the submitted articles, read the proofs and together project the future of a truly collective and international enterprise. The web editor is Todd Hanneken (St. Mary's University).

September 2007

Two new members have joined the American Editorial Board: Prof Michael Satlow (Brown University) and Prof. Laura Nasrallah (Harvard Divinity School). The American Editorial Board is now made of six members with Kelley Coblentz Bautch, Chair (St. Edward’s University), Phillip Munoa (Hope College), Charles Gieschen (Concordia Theological Seminary), and James Waddell, Secretary (PhD candidate, University of Michigan).

August 2007

Todd Hanneken (PhD candidate, University of Notre Dame) has joined the Publishing Commission. He will serve as the webmaster of the Journal. The new website of the Journal will be online in the next couple of months.

July 2007

The Board of Directors has approved the constitution of an Israeli Editorial Board, in addition to the American, French, German, Italian, and Spanish Boards. Prof. Hanan Eshel has been appointed the Associate Editor of the new Board.

May 2007

The Michigan Center for Early Christian Studies has become the official sponsor of our Journal.
